UPDATE- JAMES STAIT WINS HIS CLASS ON THE BULLDOG HISTORIC RALLY IN HIS MHMotorsport RUN LOTUS SUNBEAM FIRST TIME OUT .
The 2012 Bulldog Historic Rally, 24 March, was the first time out for James in his new imaculate Sunbeam Lotus. James Stait and co-driver Marcus Cartwright in the Sunbeam Lotus finished the rally winning their class. Marcus had co-driven for James a few years ago and the pairing clearly works.
James has previously campaigned a Midget so the Sunbeam Lotus, with twice the power, took some getting used to, but its much tougher suspension proved a particular treat. He will be contending a few more events this year before, hopefully, tackling the Roger Albert Clark Rally in November, an event that’s been on his ‘To Do’ list for some time.
